Why don't they make a 4x4 with less ground clearance and better handling for on road use? I've just bought an 04 Subaru forester as I don't go off-road any more but still want the 4WD for winter roads especially here in the highlands. It's not a huge market right now I guess but with a land...

Cost less than £1500 .. Not bad I thought for a 2004 model. And cheaper insurance.. I don't do a huge mileage, 4WD is almost compulsory where I live now in winter and I need the seats my hard top doesn't have!
