    New brake linings

OK so just done a search on the part no they gave me, (ADJ134104), seems to be for older petrol models, which is odd being as when I ordered them they took my reg No, so should have come up as TD4, as I told them. Looks like I have to re order the right ones. Grrrr!

    New brake linings

OK, here we go. I bought a new set of rear linings for my 2005 Td4, but they don't look remotely like my old ones. Have they re-engineered them, or have they sold me the wrong ones? I don't want to remove wheels and drums and have to put them back so as to get back to my supplier. Andy.

Getting peed off now, and there's no big green button or anything else on the right hand side of the white bar under the big green banner...

2003 Freelander TD4 Leaking Engine Fuel Pump

Removal of the HP pump doesn't affect the timing as long as you use the correct pulley/keeper tool. Injection timing is done electronically. The HP pump doesn't need replacing in any special position.

cp1 diesel high pressure pump leak td4

No mate, it's one of the seals that's gone. It's a common fault, it stops when the pump warms up due to expansion. Have a look on my web page for more info.

    Removing TD4 Sump Guard

I took mine off, and left it off. Unless you're going off road it doesn't serve much purpose imho, And access is much easier, although you have to secure the front valence by some method to stop it flapping. :D

    Fuel Leak Anyone

If it's actually losing it, you should see evidence on the floor. Let it tick over for 10 minutes and have a good look.

    wont start first thing

Yes thanks HD3, I know all about it as I've been making bio for over three years so quite well informed. In any case now, I don't run on bio anymore as my supply of raw oil dried up, so back to being robbed blind by the taxman and the fuel company's. Definitely fuel draining back, so...
