I’ve been thinking about this car further and I think I’ll keep looking. The lack of camera/sensors, the blingy chrome and the roof bars (that I don’t like) are putting me off. It’s meant to be a big luxury car and this one just looks a bit cheap and tacky to me.

The others I have viewed had the rear camera offset to the right of centre. I think what you can see in the centre is just where the rear wiper is attached. Also the rear sensors are visible on all the other L322's I have seen and there would also be a button on the dash if it were equipped...

Why are you trying to remove them? They are not meant to be removed. The reason the little plastic tool is broken is usually because someone has tried to remove these caps with it.

I have a set if sidesteps I was going to list on eBay but can't because I had to take an angle grinder to these bolts to remove them. Does anybody know the size of the thread at Both ends so I can try to source replacements?

I agree, get a refund from the seller, you are not going to make any money on those wheels and tyres. Most freelander owners getting new alloys would want 18" wheels. the 16" alloys are almost worthless 2nd hand. One other thing to think about, around 2001/2002 LR changed the size of the disc...

AFAIK the standard HK amp takes line level inputs so any standard head unit will fit without modifying the harness. As I said I haven't fitted a new stereo yet but that is what I have learnt from the research I have done.

Fitted one today from Paddocks, got a recon unit, after you get your £100 back for your exchange unit the final cost is about £145. It comes with a 12 month warranty (although I wouldn't want to have to remove it and fit another one).

Is it definitely the PAS pump that is leaking and not the box? It is very common for the steering box to leak.

Lots of differences but if you look at the front indicators where they go round into the front wings, on the D1 they slope downwards and on the D2 they are square.

You do know that the compressor wont run if any doors are open (including tail gate).
