    Wanted .....

Hello peeps, I started to dismantle my SIII 88' today (06-06-2010) and whilst looking at the Haynes manual (go on laugh you know you want to) I saw that there is rear lid assembly to go with a tail gate when using a hard top. So to the point: Does anyone of you lovely people have one they want...

OK May be the words Sound Proofing have way lay-ed my meaning. I am only looking to reduce noise not eliminate it. So any suggestions gratefully received.

How much have you spent restoring your Series?

Dear Big Matt, I spent £450 for my SIII (plus travel to the South and diesel back to the North) The other day I spent a G on a new galvanised chassis. I will probably spend the best part of another G by the end of June. But it will be all worth it as I am doing the work myself so the...

    Where to buy series

Dear xeon, I just bought (April 2010) a 88" diesel SIII for £450 and had to travel from one end of the U.K. to the other and back again to pick it up. For my money I got what I paid for: A project that I have spent a G on it just buying the new chassis plus over the next two months I...

Dear All, I went to the MOT station yesterday (19-03-2010) to see if my new SIII would pass. I new the chassis needed work but after lifting it was obvious that it needed a lot of work and as I was going to change the chassis for a galvanized one before taking my SIII to the tropics (when I...

Looking to put Spare wheel on bonnet

Thank you LandyBird for your input. I have the wheel inside at the moment like yourself, but I was hoping to free up some space, as I often have Four big blokes in the back in full battle dress. I am also considering putting it on the back using the independent frame as I hear that...
