Ok thanks, just reading from the Rave cd and it says MTF94 for the gearbox, 75W/90 GL5 for the IRD and 80W/90 GL5 for the diff. Should have looked first.

I plan to change the oil in the gearbox, IRD and diff in my TD4 soon and have over 4 litres of EP80W/90 GL-5 which is enough to replace the oil in all 3 but is it OK to use this in all 3? Mant thanks,

Hi Craig, Thanks for the reply. The springs coil exactly the same way on both the n/s and o/s. Both shocks look identicle apart from the abs sensor bracket. The brake pipe does go through the bracket but the bracket is on the back so can be used for both sides. It looks like Delphi make...

Hello, I have received some new shock absorbers and they have sent me two n/s rears. I have compaired them and can see the only difference between them the side that the abs sensor bracket is located. Is this the only difference?:confused: Many thanks,

Update, all sorted. Horn working with the Sony stereo, Yehh. I removed the rotary coupling (taking care not to turn it) cleaned up the connections and all working.

Fully resync'd, got 3 remotes sync'd for £5 in the xmas pot. Bargain. Great service from Cornwall 4x4.

Bugger it!!! So I have to go back to the crap radio cassette? Would a genuine land rover cd radio be ok? Looking at the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual it does not look like the horn has anything to do with the stereo. Thanks for all your help.
