    Passenger footwell wet with water

It is not the pollen filter drains it is the air con drains you want to look at. Underneath the car - each side of the gearbox, you will see a rubber grommet in the chassis housing/floorpan, I use a nice piece of heavy duty nylon strimmer cable, and stuff that up each grommet - you will get...

    lpg

There is only one major downside to LPG. Filler her up takes aaaggeess.... compared to petrol LOL The minor downside is that LPG burns hotter than petrol, so cruising at high speeds for long periods can (and I only say can) damage the engine, the liners can move, so get an engine that has top...

    Lambda sensors

Got it figured out, not Lambda sensors at all. Misfiring on one pot, new HT leads and she is a goodun. £25 - cheap as chips.

    Lambda sensors

I think you might have the answer there eight, I will take her back to my gas mechanic and see what he can do, between his laptop and my testbook, we should be able to figure it out...

    Lambda sensors

I have a lumpy idle, put the Testbook on it a week ago, cleared down the faults and re-set the adaptive on the ECU, just tested again and got: P1158, OXYGEN SENSOR PROBLEM WITH SWITCHING LEAN SENSORS (BANK B) P1138, OXYGEN SENSOR PROBLEM WITH SWITCHING LEAN SENSORS (BANK A) I doubt that both...

    christ, what now?

I agree with Irish - my AC is empty at the moment, I do not get the fault symbol up at the moment, but in the winter it clicks in. Putting the Faultmate on it the HVAC is compalining that the condensor solenoid is not working (it doesn't work because there is no pressure in the system) - I...

    Buzzing radio

The cable comes out of the back of the head unit, I drilled a hole in the tray above the head unit to bring the jack plug out. With the radio playing I just plugged in my blackberry with an audio track playing and the head unit automatically changed to that - sounded great quality too.

    P38 Air Con Leak

Thanks for the link Wammers, any idea what size fits the P38? If not I will go for the 'cheap' kit

    Buzzing radio

I have just called Clarion, and they were really helpful, their expert on the P38 recons it is a bad connection, either on the back of the head unit or the door amp. Come to think of it, I think it started when I replaced the window actuator - that would make sense. Anyway, the guy at Clarion...

    P38 Air Con Leak

Does anyone know what size SCHRADER VALVE the Rangie uses as mine leaks from the fill point valve? I don't want to fork out £50 for a vlave kit just for a 10p valve...

    Buzzing radio

Had the head unit refurbished by Clarion, but buzzing still coming from RH Front speakers, intermittantly :( think it could be the door amp. Any ideas?

    P38 problems

If it was an oldish car, I would have said choke issue, but not sure about this - does it run ok on gas, once she is started or is it both fuel types?

    Another loss of power

Another update... Fuel filters replaced and pipes cleaned, but still when cruising it will loose power and pressing the accelerator does nothing - then all of a sudden it will pick up again.... The garage thinks it now could be a collapsed CAT, but I am not sure - the jury is out...

    Freelander 1.8 clutch !?!

Be careful, get the clutch replaced and get the arm replaced too, this went on mine and knackered the flywheel as well - took two weeks to get a replacement flywheel (should have got mine skimmed) - hey ho live and learn

    Another loss of power

OK - had the Landy put on Test book this morning, all values seem to be in their correct limits, so we took her for a drive until she lost power and went into limp mode, still no errors on the Test Book and the values foe AF etc. were within limits - confused!! Anyway, taking off the oil...

    mpg

My 1.8 does a regular 30mpg, have only just bought a TD4 as well, so interested what it will do (will be gutted if it is worse than the petrol)

    Another loss of power

Ok I have scanned the threads on loss of power, but can't find one that seems to replicate my fault. 05 plate TD4 Will drive perfectly for about 20 min, then the power drops and it doesn't matter what gear you are in she is labouring. Stop, turn off ignition, turn her back on again and she is...
