Fitting a new front prop on my 110. Question is, sliding joint towards diff or tansfer box? Sure old one was towards the transfer box, which to me seems right, keeping the grease nipple up out of the way. Haynes manual says towards the diff. :confused:

I've just bought a 1997 (P) Defender 110 CSW and its dark green BUT there is no paint code on the VIN plate under the bonnet. Any idea's on where I can get the paint colour apart from going to a Landrover dealer? Cheers.
