    can you remove the cats on a v8 200series discovery and still pass a MOT as i think that my ones are dead and not too happy about the price of new one s:mad: and i am on lpg so its not going to melt to much ice up at the north pole .:rolleyes:

    if its an early type 200/300 discovery it could be coming from the drain tray in the bonnet area it feeds in to two holes at the ends and run's down the inner wing were it meets a channel that runs along the length of the wing its here that they rust and the water run's though in to the floor...

    was thinking of fitting electric fans to my v8 1993 disco as i have before and ditching the noisy viscous. One but i looked in behind the grill and there are two there already. Is this normal as i not sure they work only had this disco a couple of weeks ?:rolleyes:

    i am haveing trouble with my remote for the central locking on my 1993 disco i have put new batts in and now the thing will not unlock or lock the red light comes on the fob.???????:confused: Do you have to reset the central locking some how ?

    Central door locking!!!!!!

    yes me too only the boot lock. Is the solenoid surpose to hold the rod up or is it on a cam. As my button on the door drop down and you can't open the door.But the solenoid does jump back and forward but is not solid up or down :confused:

    I have just bought a disco 3.9i v8 gas converted, all was great but it wouldn't run on petrol, on switchover the pump didn't run I have tested the pump with a 12v source & it works, I have checked the electrics from the fuse box to the pump they are all ok but for reasons unknown the fuel pump...

    hi everone i have a disco 1994 v8 and the rear diff is shot :doh: does anyone known if a 200/300 tdi diff is the same and can you change the drive coupling from a three hole rubber donut type to the four bolt type that i have. [ HELP ]:confused:
