i have some fitted to mine,looks better,i wouldnt say much notacable diffrence in handling,and its not going to make too much diffrence to bearing wear but will obviously put some extra stresson them,overall i am happy with the way it looks and performs with them on

snow drivings ace mate,select high,floor it till kick down,little flick of steering wheel left or right doesnt really matter,then adjust to suit your condition,great fun better if there is other road users so you have things to dodge...other than that get the bus... forget that youd have to...

i would go with how well its been serviced and maintained over mileage

i have just done mine,its an early td5,but i had to cut away top panel and make up couple of brackets to hold top in place still not done bottom,i got a screw into the wing from the bottom of light seems to hold it tight,just need to bodge a bracket from other side to hold bottom of grill in...

looking for the diff lock linkage can be off d1 but must be manual box also set of steel wheels or alloys and mud tyres, and a 2"lift kit any other bits considered also just starting to build already got winch and bumper,snorkel and steering guard,so need loads...:rolleyes:

sounds about right mate,not very dear changed the 4 of mine couple of months ago,along with discs and pads,think the lot was under 200 squid and been perfect since,was easy fit aswell..

pulled it out ,nothing obvious .amp apears fine aswell,there was abit discouring on circuit board on sterio wondering if water has got in and done damage..bugger will need to upgrade now.

funnily enough yeh there was abit of a waterfall on it coming from sunroof handle could well be that i will pull it out have a look,, you would think landrover would of fittede a waterproof sterio anyway,amount of leake they come with..:D

got standard sterio fitted was working fine the other day,now theres no sound atall eveything else works fine cd changer changes through cd,s,radio searches for chanels, but no sound from speakers,dont know if i have hit a mute button somewhere but cant find one..:confused: its the highline...

will get some pics at weekend they are in my lock up,wont be up there till saturday..
