I got some dynamat in mine. works real nice being a thin but very high density type material also helps keep what little heat the poor old heater can make. The Official Dynamat Website

Not sure if this helps but my Series 2-2A Repair Operation Manual advises for removal and refit of flexible brake hoses Spanner sizes of 9/16in AF and an Open ended 5/8in AF.....failing that, maybe trial and error?
