Hello Everyone,

I live in New Zealand - well at least my Land Rover a 1970 Series 2A 109 does - in Hawea, down in the South Island, I'm currently in Perth Australia for work so I don't get to drive it often, much to my disappointment.

It was originally a Carawagon, but sadly the interior has long since been removed, I have had it for 8 months and love driving it. It is otherwise un-modified apart from some new deluxe seats, acoustic matting and a Series 3 dual line Master cylinder and servo which have made a massive improvement to safety.

I really enjoy reading some of the posts here and get inspired when I read about and see photos of some of the awesome restorations underway at the moment.

Jonathan

Thanks for the welcome Guys,

Gemsdad, Sounds like it's probably a good idea to have a sense of humour and a thick skin then!

Sean, Nice pics of your project. looks cool! how is the project coming along? That Carawagon has the making of a big project for who ever won it. I'd love to get mine back to that kind of interior, so I can take my own accommodation where ever I go.
