Probably a silly question but... Will a 2008 Defender door fit my 1987 LR90? I've heard the door seals are on the bottom of the later doors as opposed to the tread plate. But would it fit? My doors are rotten & not just the bottoms. I could then practice my welding skills on the old...

Some low life scum bag broke into my Landy last night.:mad: Fortunately they failed to start her. Just waiting for the BiB to arrive, but first look see. They've broken the rear quarter window to gain access. Smashed the ignition barrel to try & start it. not sure if they've cut any wires...

Just got a squeel, sounds like a belt slipping, when turning the steering wheel. Especially when there's a bit of resistance. Usually when over towards full lock. Is this the belt for the p/s pump? Just need tensioning/ or summat else? Thanks

So what mpg are you getting from your 19J? I did a run up the A1 the other day, steady 60 on GPS. Came back on A roads & through Leeds city centre (lots of traffic lights), round trip 130 miles. Topped the tank again to check mpg & :eek: 21mpg..... I thought it would've been better than...

I think std tyres for a defender are 235/85x16's Which is tyre width in mm/ ratio of sidewall % & rim diameter in inches. But I've seen a different size rating which I don't understand in the mag ads ie 31x10.5x15 How does this system work?
