I'd replace all the rear diff mounts - you end up with play on the l/r mounts if you sort the centre - £45 all three at Island4x4 -

Dont get 17" wheels - they are made for the sychrones. I've just swapped my wheels off my TD4 for 15" old ones with new Falken AT tyres - which by the way are F****** brilliant! I go feeding through the woods in mine and drive it to and from high seats.... Its a matter of tyres mate...

I've bougt some 15" Alloys (were fitted with 195-80-r15's) for winter/off road use. My Alloys are 6.5" wide at the rim, i did try to put some Kumo KL71's on but the only ones they do in a 15" is a 235mm, which when i put on the LR, they were fine at the back but caught the wishbone at the...

Well being a shooting/deer stalker i've changed my 17"'s for some 195x80x15"'s and put some Toyo Tranpath MT's - they are going on next week so i'll let you know how i get on in the deepest darkest depths of Reading's Estates. The Mich Sychrones will go back on when the ground firms up, Tom
