hi just wondering my lift pump only pumps a few times on the handle. when i am trying to bleed it i cant get furl to come out of the banjo on the top of the fuel filter any ideas cheers

when you push the button to make it go up does it stop near the top and judder around if it does it sounds like the teeth on the mechanism that have stripped it is a common problem with the disco windows. http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f8/300-tdi-window-regulator-97914.html have a look at this too

it could have stripped the teeth on the motor does it slide down very far if it falls down all the way the runner on the bottom of the glass could have rusted and fallen apart hope this helps

another update have got the top off the fuel pump to reveal the black wedges and the whole thing was pretty stiff i have now got it to rotate but still no fuel coming through not much resistance on the lift pump i have a couple of pumps and it goes loose as if it is up to pressure i only get...

yes i do get fuel it splutters then flows out of the top banjo on the filter

tried bleeding it cant get any fuel out

hi guys just an update i have fuel coming out of the banjo inlet to the fuel pump but no fuel coming out to the injectors so i presume the pump is blocked up is there any way to unblock this myself or does the pump need an overhaul and is this pricey?
