    I've struggled for quick a while and each time the bracket jams on the oil filter. My only options I think are to remove the oil filter housing or the bracket. With the bracket being the favorite! I've not removed the pump before is it normally is tight withdrawing the pump.

    How do I withdraw the pump. It is all disconnected but seems to clash on the oil filter housing preventing it coming out. There is a bracket on the rear of the pump with 3 torq screws. Should that be removed. I didn't remove it as the screws seem to be part of the pump?

    Thanks for the quick response i don't know what I would do without knowledgable and helpful people on this forum:). I couldn't see if the main shaft was turning, i presume i'll need to be under the vehical rather than in it!! I'll have to wait for the wife to get home.

    Hi Guys, Just a quick update on what's happening and some advice. I removed the pto cover and started the engine with the diff in neutral you can select any gear and the pto turns. However if you select Hi, Lo or locked you get nothing, pto doesn't turn. I guess that means its the transfer box...

    Cheers guys for all the help. I haven't had a chance to look at it this evening. It was still there when I went to pick it up. But on the Isle of Wight pikies are one thing we are short of, luckily. I shall remove the pto cover tomorrow and have a look. Thanks again.:)

    Thanks guys for the fast response. I put it in diff lock and still the same no drive and it was clunky before. Does that change the prognosis or is it likely to be the clutch centre plate? Ed
