Hi when you talk about the o ring on the venturi do you mean the one on the emulsion block to body ? quite a larg o ring say inch + in size. my leake is arround the throttle spindle had a word with debbie at brookwells & she looked in the kite no signe of a o ring to fit that spindle shaft. :)

series 3 1977 2.25, my zenith carb leaks between the throttle spindle & the body, can any one inform me if a new referb kit cures this problem? I am told they cost £16 to £18 any infomation will be greatly recieved.:)

just put a new stick set & canvas top on my series 3 from famous four no insructions with it, have you got a soft top fitted so I can have a look? or send me some photo`s, got it all on ok but have no idea what to tie the rops too near the doors at the bottom of the canvas front? or what or how...

I have this sort of problem, will not go out when the doors are shut, then will not go off when I press the fob, nor does the indicators flash three times any more when I lock it, then all of a sudden I get the light on when I open the door then stays on. indicators flash every 20 minites when...

just push away from yourself when sat in drivers seat you can be in low high or N, just done mine again & i have taken the top off 6 months ago oiled it all & I use it all the time, this time I just went under & sprayed with WD but when they stick under lack of use, they are very stuck. have fun.

Ok` took both back injector bolt mounts out, yes they are right hand thread & yes they both had oil behind, but we looked down the threads with a light also pocked around with a peace of mig wire, there are no access to any oilways just a threaded hole. Both back ones where loose & my concluion...

or just poke down the hole with a scewdriver, soon come out. good tip to put them back in slide one up a screwdriver shaft hold it with your finger put the screwdriver down the injector way let it go then put the injector in. simple.

I am lead to believe that this part can be scewed out right hand thread, thread tape put around it and put back in, I will give it a go at the weekend see if I can get it out, will post with result. I am an ex tec of past years, but what can go wrong & all that, so may be in need of a head come...
