all ok but i have found the wire from the ignition switch to the starter has melted and shorted out would this effect the starting checked the glow plugs by pulling each one out they are the parrell ones and are all glowing I have checked the fuel to the injectors and there are no bubbles going...

just replaced the glow plugs last week and the alty it was starting fine and this morning it started for a second then cut out there is fuel there and a live at each glow plug but turns over but wont fire any ideas please

bought a a honda civic years a go and the wishbone on the front was welded with a 13mm spanner

its up and running had to get a tow start but fingers crossed it will start tomoz thanks for the info guys

hi guys mater has been parked up for two weeks while ive had a hire car from work went to start him this morning after having the battery on charge it fired up then cut out after a couple of seconds and the battery went flat recharged the battery and tried again same thing took the glow plugs...

I had the same problem took a new live from the fuse box to the switch now they work fine

need some new door seals priced new ones up on tinter web and there a bit pricey was thinking of getting some from a breakers of a van ideas please also does anybody know any landy breakers near Manchester??? cheers in advance Herbie

I use an anderson connection from the battery it looks like its used for jump starting and cost nothing as i got it from work, we use them to connect unit to trailers for the tail lifts this was a damage one I adapted see pics
