Hi all
Im thinking of putting my leaf springs on top of my axles,
too give me a bit more height, has any body done this,
and if so what are the pros and cons?

Cheers

You but more stress and strain on your drive shafts, will blow more uj's. Raise your center of gravity making it top heavy, easier to tip over. Then you have to weld new perches for your springs to set on. Get a new alignment for everything as no matter how well you measure it will be off. and the list go on. Have fun:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Thanks John it just seems to sit low at the back and its had new shocks and better springs,
could you but spacers in to lift it a bit?

So many downsides of spring over axle it really isn't worth it.
Parabolics and 1 Ton shackles will give you a lift.

Why do you want to lift it?

Taller tyres give far more advantages than a suspension lift.
