    Rangy Starter motor

does anyone know what starter motor I will need for my 1989 3.5 EFI engine. Just bought it and it needs a few bits, i.e. manifolds, starter and clutch. Will a 3.5 Carb engine starter fit or do I need a different one?

    Rangy V8 engine into a 90

I have just bought a 3.5 EFI V8 engine which came out of a 1989 Range Rover. The engine will be going into my 1989 LR 90 Pick-up (petrol 2.5) Will this engine mate up to my gearbox (LT77 i think?) without a problem and will I have to alter the engine mounts?

    Off-roading sites in norfolk?

I am also from norfolk, Not entirely sure of any off road sites in norfolk, if you do hear of any I would be greatful to hear from you. there are a couple of off road driving schools but they will arse rape on price if you want to drive their course. There is an off road event at Bircham Newton...

    Waxoyl Time!

there are many ways of wax oiling your vehicle, first thing to do is drive your landy onto a large sheet of plastic, stops the wife complaining that you have made a load of mess! if you want to stay reasonably clean get a paint brush and paint it on, but this will take a long time and you will...

    Greenlaning in Norfolk/Suffolk/Cambridgeshire

The reason Norfolk council does not say that it is open to off road vehicles is that they are rather anal about the subject but if you take the time to look on an OS map they are shown as byways open to all vehicle. Many sections of the peddars way are ordinary roads so dont believe what you...

    BFG Mud Terrains

I put 235/85 R16 on my truck and the question about grip is that you are bound to loose grip due to the open tread on your tyres. But I still take my truck round corners at 65mph on wet roads. You just have to drive to the conditions and be aware that there is not as much grip as there is on AT...

    BFG Mud Terrains

I have the colway MT and they are the same tread pattern. I get no more road noise than my AT tyres. The tyres are good as long as you dont want to drive on serious mud. They are quite poor on clay and will clog up very easily, but the tyres are excellent for green laning and off roading in most...

    radio in 90 truck cab

I have a 90 pick up and I mounted my radio in my cubby box, out of sight and very secure. The cables go out the bottom of the box and in the cab lining to the speakers mounted on the top, back edge of the roof lining. I mounted two 13cm pioneer 130W speakers in the cab and they are awesome! The...

    How old is everyone?

I am another 20 year old landy owner. I had a VW golf TDi (120 bhp) before my landy pick-up, they are both great in their own way. But remember the saying "you may be able to go fast, but I can go anywhere!" Not many Vauxhall Corsa's or Ford Fiestas can say that can they?!

    Greenlaning in Norfolk/Suffolk/Cambridgeshire

    Greenlaning in Norfolk/Suffolk/Cambridgeshire

I live on the border between norfolk, suffolk and cambridgeshire and was wondering if anyone knows of any good greenlaning routes in that area or within reasonable travelling distance? Also if anyone knows of where I can get hold of any maps showing marked out routes that would be appreciated.

    Replacing Thrust bearing+fitting a radio

i mounted my cd player in my cubby box with all the wires going out of the bottom (Neat little job) through a rubber grommet in the floor and into the battery box. I used an inline fuse which is advisable because when I jumpstarted my truck on a cold morning I blew the fuse in the radio! could...

    rock sliders

I am after making a set of rock sliders for my 90, due to the fact I am a cheap skate! and have nothing better to do with my time. I was wondering if anyone has made a set themselves or knows where I can get hold of the exact dimension so i can make them myself. I dont really fancy climbing...
