I am after making a set of rock sliders for my 90, due to the fact I am a cheap skate! and have nothing better to do with my time. I was wondering if anyone has made a set themselves or knows where I can get hold of the exact dimension so i can make them myself. I dont really fancy climbing under it as it has three inches of crap underneath at the moment.

not sure mate But... If you manage to make a good set i would buy a set from you im another cheapskate! lol

cheers where you from?

Overall length along the top is between 1400 and 1405mm. There is a 17 degree taper to allow it to follow the wheel arches. The rear mount is BS4848 42.4mm tube attached somewhere between 145 and 150mm. The front mounting plate is around 225mm from the fornt edge, but they usually need scribing to fit.

Be warned, the main chassis bolts can be a bit of a pig to remove, so soak them for a few days in release oil first. Have you tried e-bay?

There is a good article on the internet someone, its a guy who has an online diary of his landy stuff, but its got his DIY sliders.

Just google "land rover sliders" or something and you will find them, he's an american, so if you see pictures of a 110 with american looking stuff then your on track... just quite good to see a step by step I guess...
