I want to fit a radio, not a landy one but I can fit it,can anyone tell me the best [or only place for the speakers].It looks obvious to fit them behind the dash but they would apear to be vulnerably to damp.

Is there anywhere up behind you they could go, mine are up high on either side, just below the roof.

On my 110 i am going to make 2 boxed sections under the bench seats and put 2x 6x9 speakers in. I have 2 speakers already installed at the front of the landrover.

Scott.

I have a 90 pick up and I mounted my radio in my cubby box, out of sight and very secure. The cables go out the bottom of the box and in the cab lining to the speakers mounted on the top, back edge of the roof lining. I mounted two 13cm pioneer 130W speakers in the cab and they are awesome! The problem with mounting speakers in a pick up cab is the depth of the speakers, and it can be a sod to mount the speakers. The electric cable goes out through the floor and into the battery box. The way I have put the speakers and radio, it is secure and stays out of any mud and water.

Thanks guys.I'll settle for behind my head and the radio i might just fix in the cubby box
