you can't work out who the pm was off ????? the clue's are there . and you should be able to work out what it was about.

landylady , fitting a 200tdi in your defender is not hard , but it is time consuming . the biggest problem you wil have is that the rads ( and there are three ) are all to far away from the engine , you will need to extend all the pipe work . top and bottom intercooler pipes , oil cooler...

hello everybody , anybody know where i can find a good 6 cylinder petrol engine for my series 3 , it's a 1978 109 and the engine is duff , i could do with it being pretty local to the manchester area and would prefer to hear it running . all help and advise welcome . cheers everybody.

yer not jocking ormus , if someone had told me before i did mine i would not have done it , infact i'm about to take it all off and return it to standered it's just not worth the cost . the springs and shockers cost approx £300 , but by the time i'd finished it cost around £1100...

tiki al , you may find you have put your springs on back to front , some off these lift kits come with stickers on two off the springs that say " heavy duty discovery rear " these should go on the front not the back , i've done this conversion several times and had the same thing happen . also...

hello modstan, yes you can convert to power steering ,you need to use disco parts . if your 90 is early (which it sounds like it is ) make sure you get the four bolt disco box ( they fit straight on ). also get the drag link that goes from the bottom off the box to the oposite hub . make sure...
