Hi i tow a lunar clubman es with my td4 dont no its on the back,but i have done the mods ie rover ron box egr valve engine breather.i bet you egr valve is blocked or intercooler hose split

Hi i had the same problem with int light,sure there is a fuse in the car,not under bonnet fuse bourd

To test the master cyl gently put pressure on pedal if seals are leaking the pedal will slowly go down to floor.

clamp the flexi hoses off,you will then a have a solid pedal.put foot on brake and get somewhone to release clamps one by one the pedal will drop but one will drop more than others.thats where the air will be.keep foot on pedal until all clams have released

Hi all,just done a egr valve by-pass and fitted new crankcase breather filter,old filter blocked solid.what a difference it has made to running.allready fitted the synergy 2 would recumend to other td4:)

the burning smell could be the fuel burning heater,if fitted

agree with above,but why did brakes go to floor?

Hi tried a cable kit off ebay on mine,quite hard to fit,found another one on ebay and it is a new regulater complete with motor £60.00 del next day

sounds like the left front bearing,is it noisey when going right ie round a roundabout

Hi just had fault on my td4 auto,revving up in 4th gear,took to transmission garage and they said the cluth pack housin crack on these,they did repaire without removing box cost 800 +vat ok now

Hi thanks for that,oil has been changed,but when it goes back to 4th the car slows down,especialy if you on a slip road you think you are going to stop so quite bad now.

Hi all my x reg td4 has started messing about,once engine has got warm the gearbox drops back to 4th and revs up,until you let foot off then drops back in 5th again.all other gears are ok.been told today that it is possibly clutch pack housin cracked.quoted on bourd repaire £800 or new box £1750...
