hi i've already tried reversing and forward alot and still no joy, I've checked the light is pluged in though i've a feeling they did something to the light so i wouldnt notice the diff stuck. how do the garage get it off if its stuck

Hi I've a 1996 Disco and i just got the clutch replaced, when i got it back the Diff is stuck on and i cant get it off. i brought it back to the garage and they got the light to go off but the diff is still on.. Any ideas ???????? Thanks
