wiper parking problem & rear door latch inoperable on 300tdi disco

Hi everyone,

Has anyone experienced problems where the wipers don't automatically park - you have to judge and turn them off at the right moment (just like the old days!).

On intermittent wipe they crawl back to the bottom of the screen.

Is this a wiring problem or within the wiper motor?

The rear door latch won't open - this is not the usual ceased back door handle - that works but inside the door the latch isn't engaged - is this a common fault?
Do I have to replace with new?

the wiper fault could be a relay, try the relay for the wipers, i think its a time relay or it could be that the time relay is in the wiper motor its self.

as for the door handle, could you explain this a bit clearer please

hi if its the inside door handle thats not working check the child lock??
