Hi everyone, Im plannin to swap my 2.5N/A 12J to a discovery 200tdi unit.. This stuff is hard to find here in Sri Lanka.. Anyways, Is there any difference in the LT77 gearbox from a defender 200tdi from the discovery tdi? Thank you..

i ve tried dissassembling the old dash, added relays to the wiring, and fixing it back was no problem.. What'd you guys think?

Thanks guys for you advice, the thing is that my vehicle is an ex-mil, therefore the dash has been ruined, most parts are missing and partially damaged during the restore .. Didnt pay much attention until i got her running.. but now i feel it needs attention.. The thing is landys are rare over...

I've no idea about MOT standards in the UK, but then I'd recommend Wipac or Hella lamps. These seem quite ok though... well upto you.. lets see wat the others have to say...

Will i be able to retrofit new switches for both? Seems there was no reverse light originally.

H4 Halogen lamps with Xenon bulbs are a good choice. But make sure u retrofit a relay to the lighting system or u'll burn your switches soon

opposite here mate, they love japs here, even jap bits in landys But genuine landys need to be taken to agents here.

Hi, There is no working DIFFLOCK indicator in my 2.5 N/A 90 (military ver), after inspection of the gearbox seems there is no switch for REVERSE LIGHTS or DIFFLOCK INDICATOR. Could anyone please let me know the exact positions of these switches. I guess there are blank plugs fitted but cant...
