Jumping out of 4WD (Series III)

James... the yellow lever will not stay down in low range... from what he is discribing everything is fine.. he just needs to remember that low range=4wd... so the yellow lever is irrelevant... he said that in low range both front and back were spinning..

Jumping out of 4WD (Series III)

If you are in low range then you are in 4wd... there is no 2wd option for low... here is a breakdown... High range... yellow knob up, then you are 2wd... yellow knob down, 4wd. low range... always 4wd. the yellow knob will not stay down in low range because it is already in 4wd.

    Help Engine Problems

    Series III 109 Questions

Where in the states are you? I am in Canada, and I think that you might be better off trying to find a local one, or at least one that has already been imported, even if it needs a little work. Most things on the Series truck you can do yourself, and usually it they do not need a lot to get...

If you want the series III as a daily driver I say go for it.... I have a 1972 series III with a 2.25 petrol as my only car... If you have to do much interstate driving then I would suggest the RoverDrive overdrive by wiseowl, seems to be the strongest around and not nearly as noisy as a...

roll cage trouble, they seen me coming.

I have never commented on his grammar or sentence structure, nor have I said that all his posts made perfect sense. However I think what he was asking was how tight to the body is an external roll cage supposed to be. I think that was a fair question (mind you could have been worded better...

roll cage trouble, they seen me coming.

Gentlemen, i do realise that alot of the stuff here is said in jest, however I think that the fact that Project90 has not posted again, might mean that he did not. I do feel that the comments at the begining would be taken the wrong way. Here is a lad that was putting out a request for help...

roll cage trouble, they seen me coming.

Well we Canadians tend to be a helpful lot. Bash us all you want, but don't forget that we have been there for many a country in need. As for my earlier post I do believe in helping others, regardless of their experience or mechanical ability. I am glad the slob's son can replace a head at 12...
