Last night a new character trait was show to me by my Landy. It has apparently developed a desire to talk to me ! Every time I put the full beam on or off....the horn pipps as well! :confused:

I talked to a landy mechanic today that said it would be cheaper to put in a heater plug in the engine and a socket for a normal heater fan in the cab (DEFA WarmUp - Start page) (DEFA WarmUp - Engine heaters) Whatya think ?

Yep my 1997, 110 300tdi quite enjoys driving around 75 mph on the motorway etc..( 120 km for me ) it is smooth and does not sound strained at all. However, I know these cars were not really made for motorway cruising so I normally take it down to around 100 -110 km ( 65 mph ) and try to stay...

Are they worth the cash ? I live in Sweden, and its often cold enough to freeze the B*lls of a Moose in the winter. Having said that , I live in the southern part of Sweden so its only like this for a month or so. As we all know, the heater system in the defender was not build by anyone...
