I fitted a 2nd battery to me disco so no more jump packs for me :D I have about 1100 CCAs now, seems to have done the trick :)

I changed my wiper motor at the side of the road in about 20 mins on the way back from picking it up :) Scuttle panel off (the plastic bit) wiper arms off and the spindle nuts under em, 4 10mm bolts i think it was for the motor plate and 1 for the linkadge, cant remember much really it was well...

On an unloaded engine even 1/2 throttle will rev it to the max, loaded is a totaly differant matter, id change the cable and see where that goes, trouble with strange problems like this is they need to be aproached step by step illiminating one thing at a time and begining with known problems is...

I've had to trim most flowflex (used to be delflex) bushes an every car i've fitted em too, i use me Mums old bacon slicer :D I'll admit i've not done em on me disco but trimming and flowflex do seem to go hand in hand :(

Forte is the best stuff IMHO always use it the first time i MOT a motor then redex from then on.

Mine went so i swapped the plugs over on the pumps and tested the pump by pushing the rear window wash button. Or did i just swap the hoses over and used the rear wash to button to clean the screen? dam so many bodges so little brain to remember them :(

Not 100% but on other cars power is the live into the switch, acc is Poss1 (radio), on is Poss2 (ign on) start is Poss3 (engine turn over).

I got 3 2.2 KVA genny in Makros last year to run a huge sound system in a forest/beach ect ect, £99 + VAT each, work great.

wading plug? right at the bottom of bell housing? when my clutch arm went the pedal moved perfecly but with no resistance :confused:

Boiled linseed oil is great but TBH i just use the old engine oil out the sump when i change it, nice and black to start with :D

Spent 10 mins trying to get the screen washer pump to work then thought, bollox i'll just swap the plugs over, OK i have to press the rear screen washer button to wash the front screen but hey it works and the rear motor is burnt out anyway ;)

Tonight i spent 25 mins in the dark changing me disco clutch slave cylinder :rolleyes: note to self " when you know the slave leaks dont leave the wading plug in and most importantly don't then remove it whilst laying under it" :o Vosene to the rescue :doh: but at least i have shiney hair :D
