Im wireing in a auto start-alarm. It's a 95 Disco V8 with LPG which means I can warm it up in winter when I wake up and drive straight off on LPG.
On the wireing diagram two of the wires go to a point called ACC, two to ON, one to POWER and two to START. now correct me if I wrong there are only three points ON, POWER and START. So are ACC and ON together or ON and POWER?
Any help on this would be great.
Regards Steve

Not 100% but on other cars power is the live into the switch, acc is Poss1 (radio), on is Poss2 (ign on) start is Poss3 (engine turn over).

yup - acc = accessory
on is ignition on
start is, well........... start :D

I understand that but on the diagram there is four positions here you go some pics maybe this will help.

There are 4 main connections on every ignition barrel
Power - permanant 12v (this gets switched to all the other connections as the ignition is turned)
Acc - accessory circuit - radio etc (power is connected to acc)
On - normal running setting (power is connected to acc and everything else)
Start - you know! (power is connected to starting components only)

Power is not actually a position on the ignition it is just a connection
