Started last night. Td4 manual 55 plate se. seems to be when accelerating and comes on c. 2-2.5k revs when stationary. Going for diagnostic tomorrow but any ideas? No oomph when it's on but ok when it goes off. Ta.

Refusing to pay the norm for a black armrest,I got a beige one off the bay for £19.99 and dyed it black. Dyed,dried and fitted within half an hour. I reckon that's a result. Still some available I think. They're the American made real leather rests.

I've the 'half length rails and low profile bars on my 'lander. What do you think if i bolt on some marine ply to the bars and secure a cheap 'pop up tent' to 'eyes' screwed into the ply? Haven't any past knowledge of roof tents and it's my first 'lander. Thanks in advance, Tom.

Hi folks, The name's Tom and I've recently got a 55 plate Freelander Td4 SE. Loving it so far. Previous 4x4's were Suzy Samaurai and Mitsi Shogun back in the '90s. Have always wanted a landy (90 or 110) but had to get something swmbo liked:rolleyes:. Time will come when I can get my own way...
