Good afternoon All, A local garage have a F reg defender in pretty decent conditon up for 2k with 12 months MOT and 6 months Tax It has a tow pack and is green. Its the 2.5 Turdo Disel but non intercooled What is the crack on this engine, I need it to tow 1.2 tons on the motorway...

Its not putting me off, however i would have liked the ability to stick it in rwd only for driving on the road.

Going to see a green 1994 90" defender Its a van style 200tdi fresh MOT VGC Good s/h "runs extremely well" 75k Dealer wants 3k for it. This sounds relatively well price'd given the value cars are selling privately on ebay at the moment, would you agree?

Also, The defender in questions is a 1994 car with 75k on the clock. Is there anything likely to need replacing or that should have been by that time?

Afternoon all Please can someone confirm if the 200tdi engine is a 2.5ltr engine or not? I'm going to look at a landy next weekhopfully, its advertised as a 200tdi but has a 2.5 turbo diesel engine. Does that sounds right? Thanks!

So I'm looking for an early 90's 200 or 300 tdi defender. What about mileage, im seeing alot over the 120k mark, do they ever get to a point where enough is enough?
