I'd be careful pulling fuses, these vehicles are easy to upset. Do you have the EKA code before you start? Have you read all the posts regarding battery drain caused by the alarm system being woken constantly by spurious wireless signals. My money would be on this, it's a very common problem.

I found all 4 indicators came on sometimes as my battery drained due to the infamous RF receiver problem. Fixed battery drain and not happened since.

Changed auto box oil and filter and transfer box oil. Changed serpentine belt and noisy idler pulley. Freed seized rear screen washer motor. Still a long list of jobs to catch up on but enough for this weekend. :):)

Looks in the pic like you could use mole grips to add some torque as you hit it with the hammer and chisel. Need two people though.

It takes a very long run to fully charge a low battery. I would suggest putting it on charge overnight otherwise being a P38 it will probably let you down exactly when you need it most. (The car that is)

The light glows very dimly and can only really be seen when it's dark. Lock the car and look at the gear selector carefully when dark and you should see a dim glow from the selector light. It should go out in 2 to 3 mins.

Are you confident the sync-mate you hired is working ok. I would try to either check the Sync-mate you have hired on another P38 or try to borrow another one. It really does sound like a sync problem. Good luck.

Hi, Just a thought, the suspension does try to level itself when stationary. This is normal behavior. Are you sure you now have a problem?

I'm pretty sure the Thor cranks but no start and the Gems does not crank at all with loss of sync. You could try getting a tow to a different location as there are reports that moving away from strong RF signals helps but I think loss of sync is most likely.

BECM is the electronic control module under the drivers seat that controls most functions of the vehicle. If you don't have the EKA (emergency key access) code you will need to get it from a main dealer. Most won't charge for this but will probably require proof of ID and vehicle ownership...
