Can anyone advise me.? I fitted a new pump to my Disco 2. Filled up the tank. Usually I get 600 miles to a tank. ( diesel ) I got to 130 miles and guage was showing HALF TANK !!! So thought it odd and went to fill it again. But right amount of fuel went in for less than 1/4 tank used...

Hi guys. Can someone tell me what are the end fittings for the pipes to the front brake cylinders ? My brakes have two cylinders on each wheel, one top and one on the bottom. I had to cut the pipes to get them off as they had rounded off, corroded onto the cylinders. Cheers, Dons

Anyone help. I recently got a good 109. As I haven't driven it at night I hadn't realised the dipped lights weren't comming on. I found out during my prep for it's mot. Fuse had blow. I replaced the fuse, now the lights wont turn off. Wiring seems ok as per manual diagram. Any ideas...

Ok guys. Doscover 2 1999 TD5 144,000 miles. I have just changed my cylinder head gasket. All seems good. No pressue in coolant etc. No blowback from oil dipstick, or contamination of oil. Found Intrercooler was blown, so also renwed that,.. and MAf sensor, Turbo Hoses, Coolant temp...

What would cause an intercooler to blow ? Car is a 1999 Diisco 2. 144,000 miles. Original intercooler from 1999 fitted. ( though not now lol )

Just out of interest. What is the difference between the 3 types of gasket you can put on the TD5 ? 1 Hole , 2 Hole and 3 Hole... Apart from the 1,2,3 holes, is there any other difference ? Also., can you put a 2 Hole gasket on instead of a 1 hole.,,? If that makes any sense :-) Dons

I've just bought an ex Navy Series 3 109 from 1981. Was a fitted with radio. Milage on it says 5,000 ? Does this mean it's possibley been round the clock ? OR, has it had a new engine. etc ? I get all the paperwork tomorrow.. Is in good condition and runs great. What do you think ?
