cheers the oil should be clean as its the second lot to come out the box but I will fillter it first

Ive heard of people mixing old engine oil with diesel I want to know if you can mix old auto box oil (dex111) as Ive just changed the fluid on mine and have about 10 ltrs of old stuff and will have some engine oil soon as I get round to servicing it :D

no mate its the check engine light the big yellow one on a 95 300tdi

at around 30mph the engine light comes on increase or drop the revs and it flickers out any ideas before it costs me £45 to have it checked at local diagnostic center

talking to lad at work and he reckons it could be a dodgy servo as i give them some stick this morning and they are back to normal

got my 95 disco a few weeks ago and it only had a short test (15/6/09) well took it in today and I was expecting the worst but it must be a good one past first time the tester remarked how clean it was for a 95 no rot any where underneath the only thing he mentioned was the cv joint is starting...

had my 300tdi for about two weeks and from full (brimmed) to 3/4 tank mark it has returned 200 miles mostly around the doors it has been well looked after with a full dealer service history and I think that is a key factor to better mpg
