I would opt for a new one if your keeping the vehicle , plenty to choose from exmoor trim aren't too bad on price , and if your sat in it a lot well worth the investment

Thanks for the replies, they were copper slipped at back of pads , maybe be better when worn more, keep suggestions coming cheers. Terry

Hi all, just replaced pads and discs all round on my defender 90 td5, all seemed fine for a week or so , then squealing started on braking, this was happening prior to renewing brakes so thought disc and pad change would sort it,but problem has returned ,any advice appreciated. Cheers Terry Bailey

I don't think it fixes to the roof,I have had a couple in different defenders,and made a fixing to the top corners to stop it moving about , nothing too bulky just a bit of metal strap and a self tapper, secured with a cable tie ,easy to dismantle if you need took take the guard out,hope this...

Hi to all,hoping to do the odd repair,replacing type of jobs on my 90 so I will need a bit of kit, so much choice nowadays but I am thinking sockets spanners etc, what size set should I go for i.e. 1/2 3/8 1/4. Drive. the halfords stuff looks ok , any thoughts or advice appreciated. :confused:

Hi all anyone know what the holes for on the passenger side footwell/bulkhead and should it have a grommet or plug of some sort ,I do get water in that footwell suppose this May be the problem , the hole looks around 40mm any advice would be appreciated :confused:
