defender 90 dog guard

Hey guys! Does anyone have any pics of how a land rover dog guard fastens to the roof of a defender? I have the fixings for the bulkhead but cant work out how it attaches to the roof/headlier!

I don't think it fixes to the roof,I have had a couple in different defenders,and made a fixing to the top corners to stop it moving about , nothing too bulky just a bit of metal strap and a self tapper, secured with a cable tie ,easy to dismantle if you need took take the guard out,hope this was helpful

Mine had to be drilled into the roof... will take a piccy later

it has an attachment at the top of the dog guard which is held on by tape at the moment so doesnt fall off!

I used to have a defender dog guard fitted to a series 11a and 111 where i had to drill a hole in the centre roof cross section as there is a pin that is fitted to the top of the dog guard that locates in the hole then i made brackets to fit the guard to the rear bulkhead, hope this helps

think the hole should be there though in a defender and the bulkhead bracket should fit aswell as a series doesn't have the hole in the roof section and think a defender is slightly taller than a series hence why i had to make brackets for the bulkhead.
