ive got a steering guard, this sat beneath that and was a total skid pan for the front axle. ive never seen one in magazines or anythin and im pretty sure its not a home made jobby. ill keep searchin. thanks

me mates recently brought a defender same year as mine same kinda spec but i noticed that instead of having the standard circular diff guard he had one that span the whole front axle. it was fixed on to the radius arm bolts that attach to the axle. it acts as a skid plate protecting everything...
