Hi Wammers Many thanks for the reply, Glad to hear it can be removed, Yes some of the shank is visible, So with a mole grips or a stud extractor these can be taken out ? Anti clockwise? ( haven done this before)

Sorry Guys about all the posts Had another look at it there now and replaced a few fuses alls well now and the jeep's driving great I had the belts on fine after all but you begin to doubt yourself when something goes wrong

Just checked The belts routing with rave cd and i have them on correctly!! But the range will not start it just shows a series of faults on the dash starting with abs fault and engine disabled! any ideas appreciated

Please Anyone got The fan routing/diagram/directions for a 2.5dse? Pretty sure I have the belt on fan/water pump pulley side correct. just worried about the pulleys on the right side!!

I am not having much luck with this repair Replaced the belts and rad and now the engine won't start I think I have them on correctly but has anyone got the belt diagrams? anyone got any ideas? illiadie

An immediate update... Yesterday I was trying to think what bar or bit of pipe i could use and today after reading ZZr reply it dawned on me Bingo,, My crowbar worked a treat,Fan belt on now,but still think that tensioner was pretty tight, Thanks ZZr illiadie

Yes pretty sure the routing is ok ! is there a diagram around for this just in case? I should have drawn it How did you attach or get purchase of the bar on the tensioner,there doesn't seem to be anywhere to attach the bar to , in order to pull back the tensioner Besides this, the tensioner...
