Hi brnocz, Havent used emry paper on any of it. Will check the carbon pin tonight. The condenser is new..... With the cable running from the coil pack to the bolt on one end of the points should there be any insulator between the cable from the coil+condenser and the bolt on the top?

Itd run for about 30/40mins light work. 10 mins hard! Haven't removed the wires from the coil so they should be o.k. I cant find any guides to make sure i've fitted the points correctly and got the gap set correctly. (never had to replace points b4!:()
