can anyone tell me what mpg i should expect? getting about 13 to the gal on lpg running around country roads . also are there any gadgets to increase fuel econ ie electronics? or just plane know how . just bought her . thanks..............:)

I was doing short runs with my V8 and it just scraped 10mpg so 13 aint too bad on country roads. Its when your sat at about 65 on the motorway that you will notice it go up. Check your tyre pressure and inflate to manufactures spec. Change your air filter and get the LPG system serviced and tuned. It will cost to have these bits done but may help you save on your fuel. Tyre presure and air filter are cheeper tho;)

13mpg?!!! i wish! I average around 9mpg!

Mine's an auto and at the moment i seem to be seriously lacking power. (its the3.9) i get to about 65mph and all the power dissapears. i serviced it last week to try and improve it but no avail at the mo.... (done the usual stuff like tyres, filters, and checked the bearings/brakes.) I've renewed the rear springs and shocks (hevy duty standard hight)

Anyone got anyideas?

Clean out yer AFM with Halfrauds bike chain degreaser, NGK BPR6E spark plugs, decent leads, new air filter, dizzy cap and Rotor Arm. Failing that get your LPG system serviced as it could be fuel starvation. If it's on Petrol try putting a new inline fuel filter in as well.

Forgot to add, my RRC 3.9EFi gets about 26mpg at a steady 65-70 on Petrol, about 20ish on LPG, mixed mode driving about 18-20 on Petrol and about 15ish on LPG.
