I have 200tdi and it does have a small earth from the block to one of the long starter bolts (10mm head i think) that goes right through the housing. It doesn't matter which one you bolt it too. The more earths the better i run one from starter to block, block to chassis and main battery earth...

If you have access to a welder just weld a 20mm run on the arm and normally the quick heat works. It doesn't damage the seal and you have something to hit with the hammer.

Anyone had problems with when they put the lights on the left hand indicators stay on permantely but not flashing. When i put the left hand indicator on and no lights on all the front lights and rear lights flash! Had a quick check on earths etc and nothing obvious Any thoughts gents it is a...

Staple gun does work mate and doesn't damage the roof skin. Not pretty but works.

Hi just put my new seats in but they came with no headrests. Does anybody have any idea how you get them out as i can reuse the original ones. I have tried the obvious pulling and feeling for a release button. Any advise would be appreciated.

Must of just been my panhard rod then as the defender one was 30mm longer then the disco one and when fitted the axle was off set due to the shorter length.

The front panhard rod is different on the disco and defenders as is the front steering arm. You need to fit the defender panhard rod to the disco casing.
