I.e.: chopping off the window frame and fiddling about with it to make it removable. I appreciate that it would make very little difference to airflow etc, but it's more for "the look" when the roof's off... But: would it be worth the effort?

Fit a gas strut. Or work round it like the rest of us do...

That just looks to be exactly as you described: an air actuated centre diff lock. Basically the same as standard, only using air rather than a mechanical linkage to activate it. Air lockers that you are talking about lock the axle differentials, so you may do, but that picture won't help...

Now that you're all in here telling me to use search as there are plenty of threads covering the subject... One question that nothing answers: Will a 200tdi, or a 300 for that matter, fit with the original TD radiator along with an aftermarket intercooler that's already there? T'would save...
