unplug the MAF (mass air flow thingy) and see if the idle sorts itself out. If so clean the maf and put a paper filter in and lose the K&N as the oil from these can come off and upset up the maf

I use to have the same problem and found that with mine you have to put it in gear and start to bring the clutch up slowly (but not so you move) while pushing the transfer box lever forwards or into diff lock. Or if you are on a hill let it roll a bit.

well i guess they were just filling it to the max on the dipstick not to the brim of the engine. never tried it myself as it sounded like a wind up to me

I read on anouther forum that a trick to do as an engine flush was to fill the engine block up with diesel and run it for about 10 minutes then drain the diesel out. I myself have never tried it on any car but just wondering if anyone has tried it on there landy?

the dual mass flywheel costs £400?! Just did a quick search a flywheel should cost you about £235 (that could be for a single mass one though it didn't say) If I were getting the clutch done I would probably change the flywheel at the same time for reliability as it shouldn't really add anything...
