It does still work via the hazard lights switch funnily enough.

Quite surprised I am too. It's not the fuses (i doubt two will have popped at once, although i did swap a fuse from the radio and still nothing), the bulbs still work (via the hazard lights). So the stalk seems to be culprit. How easy are these to replace / fix? I've seem some folks on here...

Hey LR people. Just got the fuel injection pump sorted out. Got it reconditioned and restored, sounds alright and functions like new now.

Blimey they want the old inj. pump as WELL as the cash for buying the remanufactured one! They don't want much do they?

I can get a new one for a bit less than that too.

Maybe it's worth buying a spare inj system block while that gets fixed? Any ideas who is worth trusting on that?

Will do, there's no chance of it being leaks, but it does get crazy condensation that drips down.

Well the problem has gone away, I had the injectors cleaned but I suspect it was just some watery gunk in the top of the fuel-level / tank.
