Thanks Ratty! Going to have the discs and pads (on both sides!) changed tomorrow.....hopefully this will sort the problem, keep fingers crossed!!

Right, took vehicle to Landrover specialist....not sure of problem put on diagnostic machine - everything OK with ABS, traction control etc. Decided to change the caliper and flexi hose to try and ilimiate the problem ....cost of £118 ....one week on and the disc is still get hot after...

I thought this site was to try and help other landrover drivers...everytime I come on this site, all i get is cocky replies! Where does it say in the Landrover Bible that you have to replace both calipers at the same time? Brake pads were replaced on each side. My question was....New caliper...

Thanks for advice, going to try that now....further problem the rear window demister and light on demister switch is also not working. Vehicle runs fine, battery sound....it only runs flat when we have attempted to find fault by pressing internal button and depressing handle, this has happened...

Hi, had vehicle in garage for two days....who apparently can't find what the problem is, so brought home again..... tried a few other things as mentioned on this site but with no joy....definately power getting to the back door as when pressing internal window switch you can hear the power...

No the window will not work with the internal window switch, and yes we know the battery needs charging....but battery went flat overnight when the problem occurred.
