    Series 3 300tdi conversion

Ok thanks, . Yes its going in a series 3 109' 2.25 petrol. . So as I understand, leave the fly of the 300tdi in place, and use the series 3 clutch. Its a standard series 3 gear box by the way .

    Bubbles in rad

So I took off the the rocker cover and first thing I noticed was number 4 valve sitting up and no valve cap on. The push rod could not have been seated properly, stopping me turning the engine by hand, so when I adjusted the valves I set it to the wrong point. It must have popped in place when...

    Should series gutters be clear

I've tried lots of sealants from gutter joining stuff to bathroom waterproof silicon . And they haven't worked. So I was told of some sealant called "tiger seal" , so when I managed to get hold of some, I set about sealing the roof . First I changed the door seal, to a 90 one piece seal. Once I...

I put the diaphragm back to what it was . Then turned the engine so the lift pump was off the cam . Then just bled it and cranked it untill it fired. All good now except she puffs out abit of black smoke under load at about 40 - 60 mph
