Had a faulty intermittent fuel gauge/pump on my puma 2.2 last few weeks. Engine was very slightly mis-firing at 1800 revs this week. Complete engine cut out and tow home by a vw polo. Is it electrical? Could it be a faulty relay? Which one? Anyone have any similar experience? Or new fuel...

Thanks for your help Wimblow. Really appreciate it. I think we have found the problem. The little hard to get hose attached to the inlet manifold had a big split in it. Resting/expanding on an engine mount bolt head. ?? Missing a cover plate? I’ve got a feeling this isn’t the end of it tho…now...

Update..I had the codes read and it brought up maf sensor. PO101. PO130 02 sensor circuit Bank. (Oil degradation & glow plug code came up on one check). Can the sensor cause all this fuss?? Can it be tested? Still at a loss. Cheers

Changed Intercooler and Thermostat. Just took it out and still no power and limp mode @ 1500-2000 revs. ☹️.

Took intercooler off and did a home/garage pressure test and it seemed ok although the test pressure was quite low. Now goes into limp at 50 mph@2000 + revs. Still can hear the pressure whooshing noise. Replaced turbo 2 yrs ago. Could it be knackerd? again.?

Got the landy off the ground. Selector won’t go into any gear with the engine running. When engine off, selector finds all the gears. Could this be the clutch?? As I posted earlier, it stalled violently at a junction and lost all gear selection. Cheers

Hi. I pulled away from a junction in 1st gear and the landy made a hi pitch screech,a loud clunk and stalled. Then no gears!! Selector unable to find any gear. So towed home by a polo . Clutch?Gearbox? Can anyone point me in the right direction? Already on axlestands and looking forward to...

Got it fitted with a 2 point linkage. Right squeeze with diff lock gearknob bit awkward. Think I need 3 point inertia belt?? Rear bulkhead has two glass sliding windows. Do’h!! Cheers

Any advice on re- fitting a centre seat to a 2014 puma tipper. I realise it will not leave any leg room and removal of the plastic central section. Greatly appreciated. Roll on for a better 2021!!!

Hi. Does anyone have any advice on the removal of central compartment (between the two seats) to fit a middle front seat? I understand it will be a tight fit. Any advice greatly appreciated. Gezz

I just had indicator light guards arrive. I didn’t read the small print properly and expected them to be powder coated steel not PLASTIC!! I guess it’s a good thing, considering the corrosion problem with steel and aluminium but they look a bit naff. Anyone else use these? Cheers
