FOR SALE: Land Rover Discovery 300 Tdi, M reg. MOT'd til late October. Low mileage for year. New water pump, belts and tensioner fitted just before laid up in December with head gasket blowing. Runs and doesn't smoke a great deal even though head gasket is blowing. Great runner. Open to sensible...

Probably a silly question BUT thats me lol does anyone know where I can locate just a sidelight bulb holder please? Was amazed that Brooklyn's don't do this as a spare part and only sell it with the complete headlight :( does seem a tad silly in my eyes that such a part isn't sold as a spare :\

Have a look on ebay .. this week i've just picked up a 51 plate td5 gs, fsh etc, yrs mot for less than £2,500 and its had new cylinder head, turbo, clutch etc...admittedly it has higher mileage, but in all honesty if its got fsh the mileage isn't really that important to me

It's soooooo good being back on the road, am lovin the Td5, so different to my 300Tdi. Going to be very busy over these next few days catching up on Christmas shopping etc, all stuff I shoulda done the past few weeks but was unable to! If ya see me bombing about in the Td5 be sure to beep n wave...

Lesson to be learnt here.......dont use veg oil lol <makes mental note> I had a similar problem with my M plate 300tdi in that it wouldn't start every bloomin winter, each time it was the fuel lift pump....and I never run her ever on veg oil...I just assumed it was a common problem with this...

Just seen this hun :( there's an accessory socket in the boot that works, so not sure if it would be a fuse, judgin by some comments on a post i posted last nite its common practice for the wire to be loose behind the lighter....now to figure out how to get to it haha i WILL crack this problem lol
