Afternoon all, I have an 07 Freelander 2 HSE model. When I turn the control knob for Heat or AC nothing comes out, even at full blast, the lights on the knob light up but it just keeps going round and round if I keep turning. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

All, I’ve been quoted approximately £480 to replace my Thermostat in a 54 plate TD Freelander 1. How does that sound, expensive, cheap, average? Thanks. Also, forgot to ask. Does the Diesel Freelander 1 use any kind of special coolant. Thanks.

Regarding my original question, I’ve looked at some of the threads about fitting a new thermostat and leaving the original one in place, does this cause any problems to the system? if not, can anyone recommend a suitable thermostat. Thanks.
